“It is He who is revealed in every face, sought in every sign, gazed upon by every eye, worshipped in every object of worship, and pursued in the unseen and the visible. Not a single one of His creatures can fail to find Him in its primordial and original nature.“

we should try to see with “the eye of God” – Baha’u’llah

See also e.g., Kitáb-i-Iqán 16, 196. In another passage He says, “behold My Revelation through Mine eyes” (Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh 242, cf. Gleanings 90-91).

God will no doubt inspire whosoever detacheth himself…

God will, no doubt, inspire whosoever detacheth himself from all else but Him, and will cause the pure waters of wisdom and utterance to gush out and flow copiously from his heart.

When a true seeker determineth to take the step of search in the path leading unto the knowledge of the Ancient of Days, he must, before all else, cleanse his heart, which is the seat of the revelation of the inner mysteries of God,……………..

216: REST ASSURED THAT THE BREATHINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT …

Rest assured that the breathings of the Holy Spirit will loosen thy
tongue. Speak, therefore; speak out with great courage at every meeting.
When thou art about to begin thine address, turn first to Bahá’u’lláh, and
ask for the confirmations of the Holy Spirit, then open thy lips and say
whatever is suggested to thy heart; this, however, with the utmost
courage, dignity and conviction.

If we are awake to the perfection of the moment we may begin to perceive directly what lies behind it, behind appearances and form.

To be awake to the moment is to be awake to the Qualities that are manifesting through the moment.

Living Presence,
~ Kabir Helminski ~

Come to know the One
in the presence before you,
and everything hidden
from you will be revealed.
For there is nothing concealed,
nothing buried
that will not be raised.

Say: The first and foremost testimony establishing His truth is His own Self.
Next to this testimony is His Revelation. For whoso faileth to recognize
either the one or the other He hath established the words He hath revealed as
proof of His reality and truth.

“Jesus for Paul was clearly a living and…

“Jesus for Paul was clearly a living and personal present reality who made himself known to him on the road to Damascus. But in other respects, and here we must be aware of the many senses of the word ‘revelation’, Paul received the gospel by means of human agency rather than directly or immediately. And that is the situation of most, if not all, of the rest of us. Wherever Jesus is now – that is, quite independently of what we happen to believe about the ascended Christ present in the church and the world – we do not have a direct, unmediated relation to him, at least in the sense that the words which communicate his reality are firmly anchored in the past. This means that because the texts are couched in the concepts of a particular historical context. God comes to language in the particularities of a culture. This means that the interpretation of the revelatory particulars is entrusted to particular people, who by handing on what they have received become what we call tradition. As we saw, tradition is, before it is anything else, a form of personal relation, and we need the mediation of a tradition of interpretation if we are to receive revelation for what it is.” (in A Brief Theology of Revelation, 108-109)

For whoso faileth to recognize either the one or the other He hath established the words He hath revealed as proof of His reality and truth.

This is, verily, an evidence of
His tender mercy unto men. He hath endowed every soul with 106 the
capacity to recognize the signs of God. How could He, otherwise, have
fulfilled His testimony unto men, if ye be of them that ponder His Cause in
their hearts. He will never deal unjustly with any one, neither will He
task a soul beyond its power. He, verily, is the Compassionate, the
All-Merciful.
