`Abdu’l-Bahá’: As you have faith so shall your powers be

`Abdu’l-Bahá’ (23 May 1844 – 28 November 1921) was a prisoner for 40 years. One reason he was the “Master’ was because he coped with all of the cruelty heaped upon his father Bahá’u’lláh, Founder of the Baha’i Faith and on their family and followers during their four decades of variously severe imprisonment.

You can read a book about the teachings of `Abdu’l-Bahá’ free online here – http://bahai-library.org/books/quest/

Paul Hedderman: Hear with Lion Ears

Paul Hedderman has these two quotes on his site. Below is a favourite of mine from Paul;
“When you are deluded and full of doubt even a thousand books are not enough.when you have realized understanding even one word is too much.” – Fen Yang

“Nothing has to be given up. Just realize that whatever you “know” is different from who you are” – Nisargadatta Maharaj – http://www.zenbitchslap.com/
