How to calm negative energy

There are many ways to calm a negative energy without suppressing or fighting it.

You recognize it, you smile to it, and you invite something nicer to come up and replace it; you read some inspiring words, you listen to a piece of beautiful music, you go somewhere in nature, or you do some walking meditation.

~Thich Nhat Hanh

Be born again, go within, and help create a new heaven and a new earth

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. – John 3:3

For, behold, I create new heaven and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. – Isaiah 65:17

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”

interfaith dialogue, interbelief dialogue, transbelief dialogue – where is the inter-spiritual?

…. Some interfaith dialogues have more recently adopted the name interbelief dialogue,[1][2][3] while other proponents have proposed the term interpath dialogue, to avoid implicitly excluding atheists, agnostics, humanists, and others with no religious faith but with ethical or philosophical beliefs, as well as to be more accurate concerning many world religions that do not place the same emphasis on “faith” as do some Western religions.

Similarly, pluralistic rationalist groups have hosted public reasoning dialogues to transcend all worldviews (whether religious, cultural or political), termed transbelief dialogue.[4]

Being in touch with Healing Elements

“The blue sky, the flower, the river, the cloud, these things have a healing nature. If you allow yourself to be in touch with these healing elements, the wounds within your body and your mind will be healed. We should allow ourselves to be healed, and therefore, we should allow ourselves to be in the heart of life, which contains so many wonderful things, like the children, the flower, and so on…”

“The seeds in our consciousness can function like anti-bodies. What is important is that you continue to plant new seeds, the kind of seeds that are both refreshing and healing. And if you just do that, by practicing mindful living so that you can be in touch with the flower, with the cypress tree, with the fresh air, with the beautiful eyes of the children, then these seeds will be planted in yourself, and they will naturally take care of the seeds of your suffering. You don’t even have to touch them. And that is something I think the practice of Buddhism can contribute to psychotherapy in the west.”

We have not even to risk the…

“We have not even to risk the adventure alone, for the heroes of all time have gone before us – the labyrinth is thoroughly known.

We have only to follow the thread of the hero path, and where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence.

And where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.” Joseph Campbell
